Baking basics

Check back soon… I’m going to have a baking 101 tutorial, but I’m still in the process of laying this out… I should be done with this section by mid march.

Flour should only be measured by scooping your measurement (e.g., 1 cup) then running a knife over the rim to remove the excess.

Get to know your oven: it has hot and cold spots. Try baking the same size roll of bread in different parts. This will allow you to adjust a recipe to YOUR oven’s cooking time.
