Is there anything more luscious than fine french truffles? Apparently yes there is! “Charbonnel et Walker Marc de Champagne Pink Chocolate Truffles” (also by Royal appointment to the Queen herself no less). I came across these truffles in a upscale department store, and I could not resist.
I bought a small box of 3 for $10 (thats $3.33 / truffle, but well worth it.) The delicate English-made rose champagne truffles evoke old world luxury. Though these are sold round the world, their handmade quality still shines through. The delicate exterior chocolate shell has the distinctive bouquet of quality rose champagne and the rich chocolate center is decadant and smooth, much like other European chocolates.
